I hope your dahlias are starting to bloom! This is the time of year when all the work becomes worthwhile. If you're not blooming yet, I recommend a weekly fertilizer to help boost your growth. Here's what I use.

• Fertilizer for Growth: Alaska Fish Fertilizer, 5-1-1. Warning: It is the literal embodiment of death in a bottle. As much as I loathe it, the plants love it. I recommend using Lume shower gel to clean the smell off, because it is THAT bad.​

• Fertilizer for Blooms: Alaska MoreBloom, 0-10-10. Luckily it does not reek of decay and comes easier out of a sprayer.

I do not normally offer refunds for mislabeling tubers, but I have an exception this year. If you ordered a Sugartown Sunrise from me, and it looks the complete opposite of what it should look like, I feel you.
